Momin Ahmed was born into an Assamese family. His early life has been marked by hardship, as his father, Sub-Inspector Askar Ali, was tragically killed by insurgents while on duty.

Despite facing severe financial constraints, Momin pursued his dream of becoming an engineer and successfully completed his mechanical engineering degree from Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College in Karnataka.

After graduating, he began his career at a solar company headquartered in Gurugram, where he gained valuable experience over four years. Later, he returned to his home state Assam and founded Rongali Green Energy Private Limited. 

Today, Momin is a well-known figure in the solar energy industry of Northeast India. He also serves as the Treasurer of the Solar Association of Companies, playing a vital role in promoting the growth and development of the sector.
